Notice of 30 Day Comment Period and Public Meeting2023-2027 Five-Year Consolidated Plan

South Dakota Housing, in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, will be hosting a public comment meeting to solicit comments on the draft 2023-2027 Five-Year Consolidated Plan.

The Consolidated Plan is a five-year housing and community development planning document that includes how the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), Housing Trust Fund (HTF) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) program funds will be allocated.

The comment period will run from July 12, 2023 until August 10, 2023.

The public meeting is an opportunity for the public to provide their comments, suggestions and ideas on the draft plan. The final plan will be available by August 15, 2023.

Persons interested in making comments may do so at the public meeting July 26, 2023, or by sending written comments to South Dakota Housing, attention Chas Olson, PO Box 1237, Pierre, SD 57501, by fax (605) 773-5154 or by email to chas@sdhda.org. All comments are due by 5 p.m. CDT, August 10, 2023.

The public meeting will be held on July 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. Central Time. The meeting will be available in person at South Dakota Housing, 3060 E.
