Invitation: Public Meeting on Housing Development Plans

South Dakota Housing, in partnership with the Governor's Office of Economic Development, invites you to participate in an upcoming public meeting as we begin the process of developing the 2026 Annual Action Plan and updated allocation plans for the HOME, Housing Tax Credit, Housing Trust Fund, Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Solutions Grants and Housing Opportunity Fund programs.

These programs administer the distribution of federal and state funding dedicated to housing development. The planning documents presented outline the programs’ structure and operations, including set‑asides, threshold requirements, selection criteria, underwriting standards, and application processes.

This meeting is an opportunity to provide input on priorities, discuss current development challenges, and help shape the direction of these programs before draft plans are prepared. Your feedback is critical to ensuring these resources are aligned with real project needs and market conditions.
